not a lot of new stuff going on this month; it's been a quiet one for me, with mostly work taking up my time. everyone has caught what I can only assume is the bubonic plague and it is spreading around the clinic like wildfire to everyone except for me, so i've been picking up a lot of overtime.
i went to a pretty cool air show this month, which like, air force and army nonsense isn't usually my thing however i do love watching those jets flip around and do stunts. bucket list activity is to go on one of those things one day for sure. i'm a big roller coaster and thrill ride fan and i do think being able to sit in one of those things would top any experience i could possibly find elsewhere.
what i have been doing a lot of this month is just hanging out and re-watching stuff with my friends. we've been revisiting older things we love a lot, and it's been nice to just exist alongside them while we do our own thing and yap about the shows as we go. it sucks having everyone scattered around the country and so far away, but a good ol movie night and video call bridges the gap a little bit. there's vague plans for us to all be in the same place over christmas, so i'm looking forward to that.
I'm working on some taxidermy this month - I'm preserving, or attempting to, a pair of beautiful bird wings!! first time doing anything like this, but I do intend to write up a proper post about it once they're complete. if it works, anyway.
