red fox (vulpes vulpes) ✸ juvenile male ✸ 13.5cm
the bone that began it all! this is a young male red fox, which I recieved as a birthday present a few years ago and subsequently kickstarted my bone collection! he was found as roadkill, mascerated by my friend, and I finished it with the degreasing and whitening and reassembling process. he actually now lives in a dome with a handmade log display stand and he lights up! I'm very attached to him and he is currently the only skull in my collection that has been turned into an art piece. here's some progress pics of the whole project!
