JAPAN ✸ 2024

now i do already have a japan trip page that i did for my blog, but i'm still going to talk about it here so i can post all my photos. this was my two best friends and i's first big overseas trip together! we'd been planning it for about a year and had been talking about it for even longer. i'm so glad we all got to do it together, it was an amazing experience and one of the very rare times we all got to be together in person. we went in early october and stayed for about 3wks, it was a little hectic and we did as much as we could in that time, but i'm glad we did it that way. it felt like we managed to check off the touristy checkboxes while also getting a feel for the country itself. i would love to go back and do a slower, more scenic visit and see the not so popular things. wonderful country; between the three of us, we knew a little bit of japanese and found it pretty easy to navigate and communicate. i'm not sure if we would fare well going out of the major cities, but maybe one day!
