NEW ZEALAND ✸ 2019 + 2022

new zealand! one of my favourite places i've ever visited. it is beautiful here and the climate is perfect for me. reminds me a lot of home except everyone is less miserable. i've been to nz twice now and very likely will be going back again in the near future.

✸ 2019

my first trip to nz was to visit a few friends! i went to the south island and mostly hovered around dunedin, where my friends lived, and queenstown. i stayed at this beautiful airbnb on a farm and walked down to the bus stop each day to get into town. it was beautiful, i really love it there. there was a cat friend!

✸ 2022

i went back again in 2022 to visit the same friends. this time, we started in queenstown and had planned a roadtrip to dunedin, rather than just driving a straight shoot down the motorway. this second trip was a lot of fun! we saw a bunch of random little towns and landmarks, and my friend had a segment on a radio show at the time that i occasionally was a guest on, and it was coming up to the end of their time on air, so we recorded the whole trip for the show as a send off. i think you can actually still listen to it! first episode seems to be lost, but the second episode is still around!
