USA ✸ 2010/11

i always hesitate a little to add this onto my trips list, because it was technically just an extended layover on one of my trips to visit family in the UK for christmas. however! for new years 2010/2011, i was in LA for about a week! it was just a layover on my way home, but i did spend a fair bit of it wandering around and doing stuff. i am a known theme park enjoyer, so i went and visited universal studios in hollywood and fell deeply in love with waterworld. it was a bit of a manic rush but i enjoyed it all the same. this was when i was living in a smaller, quiet town in australia and had never really been into a general city before, so it was a little alarming to suddenly be in one. woe, crunchy decade old photos be upon ye
