urbex, or urban exploring, is the polite term for tresspassing onto abandoned properties with the intent to just look around a little bit, and is something i've been doing for a very long time! i would certainly argue that one of the best ways to get me into an abandoned building is to say "ebony, no, don't go in there! it's abandoned and spooky and possibly dangerous, and also trespassing is illegal!". this phrase is a siren call to me.
